Industrija Masina i Traktora (IMT) Belgrade is looking for a new owner, and the bankruptcy supervisor of the company has advertised a new sale through a public bidding scheduled for April 2.

The most important pieces of the property of the bankruptcy debtor are buildings in Jarkovac, equipment and the trademark rights which expire on September 12, 2027.

The initial price is around RSD 66 million, and potential purchasers can view the property until March 26, 2018, provided that they have bought out the sales documentation and paid the deposit of RSD 26.4 million.

The public bidding will be held at the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency in Belgrade.

IMT has been in bankruptcy since 2015, when the factory's debts amounted to EUR 186 million and when it employed 360 workers. The company used to produce around 400,000 tractors a year, Beta reports.
