Yura to build new plant in Leskovac worth EUR 40 million

The construction of the new factory of the Korean company Yura is in progress in Leskovac, where around EUR 40 million will be invested, stated Mayor Goran Cvetanovic, as reported by Jugmedia.

Cvetanovic stated this during the presentation of the new sterilization equipment at the Leskovac hospital.

– Yura is now building a plant worth EUR 40 million, a sterile environment of 900 m2, where no speck of dust must be found. This will be one of the most modern facilities in Europe – Cvetanovic said.

There were certain hints previously that Yura's new plant would produce sophisticated products and that it would require primarily highly educated workforce.

Let us remind that Cvetanovic stated last October that Yura would open another two plants in Leskovac and employ 1,500 people there.
