Company South Stream renamed as Gastrans

The company South Stream has been renamed as Gastrans, BalkanMagazin reports.

The decision on the change of the corporate name was reached by the Business Registers Agency on January 30, 2018. The date of the founding act was changed as well, from April 30, 2012, into January 26, 2018.

Gastrans will be building the pipeline through Serbia by which the Russian gas from the Turkish Stream will be transported from the Bulgarian border through Serbia to Hungary.

The directors remain the same: Dusan Bajatovic in Serbia and Alexander Syromyatin in Russia, as the company remains Serbian-Russian owned.
