The Israeli company Mobilicom has shown great interest in arriving to the Serbian market, the minister without a portfolio in charge of innovation and technological development, Nenad Popovic, said on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

He told the company's representatives that the Government of Serbia was ready to provide the biggest incentives possible for attracting foreign investments in IT and innovations.

– I told them that the Government of Serbia would give the biggest incentives possible to all those investors looking to open development and research centers in Serbia, such as Israeli's Mobilicom – Popovic said.

As announced, Mobilicom is looking to open a European Center for Research and Development in Serbia.

Popovic also emphasized that the arrival of the company to the market of Serbia would bring new “smart jobs for young engineers”, which would influence a growth of the economy and convince young people to stay in Serbia.

– Mobilicom is a global provider of communication solutions for critical missions. They have developed their own 4G technology – communication not requiring any sort of infrastructure, which is especially useful in cases of natural disasters. They are currently working on the development of a 5G network as well – Popovic said.
