In late 2017, the operations of the British automotive company Delphi were split into two independent companies – Delphi Technologies and Aptiv – as a result of which the factory in Novi Sad changed its name into Aptiv as well.

As the company told Dnevnik, they will continue producing electronic cable assemblies for car manufacturers throughout Europe.

– We will not change the location, as Novi Sad is a good business environment, with an efficient transportation infrastructure – Aptiv explains and add that “the factory at 20 Privrednikova Street is a wholly new facility, featuring a modern training center, a spacious cafeteria and a number of common rooms in several joint buildings”.

Over 3,700 people are currently employed in Novi Sad, and the workers come from both within the city and places up to 50 kilometers away.

– Since we've reached a nearly full capacity, we are maintaining the necessary planned number of workers through current employments. At the same times, we are focused on enhancing the working environment for our team, which includes aspects such as uniformity and uniform maintenance, but also cafeteria services, including cooked meals and baking products – the British company says.
