Yumco Vranje is planning to open a new facility in Bujanovac by the end of January, the company's director, Branislav Trajkovic told TV Vranjanska Plus, as reported by the SeeNews portal.

Let us remind that the opening of the facility in Bujanovac, in which 50 retrained workers were supposed to be employed, was announced back in January 2017.

It was announced at the time that a three-month training of potential workers would begin on February 1, 2017.

The Vranje-based company ended 2017 with good business results, with the realization being higher by 20%, and the export by 5%, compared to 2016.

Yumco's capacities were employed for the production of uniforms for the armies of Germany, Finland and Italy, and they also produced thread for their partners in Germany and Switzerland.

The company's management recently announced even better results in 2018, considering that jobs have already been contracted for the entire year and that a realization higher by 70% than that in 2017 is therefore expected.
