Proleter to invest EUR 2 million in new sock factory in Ivanjica – Jobs for 250 people
He said that this would be a modern sock factory and added that he expected around 250 people to get a job there.
Lazovic said that new employments were the municipality's goal in 2018.
– This is our goal in 2018, to create the conditions for people to be employed. There are currently 4,060 unemployed people registered at the National Employment Service – Lazovic pointed out.
According to him, the investments in factories announced for 2018 and 2019 will enable around 700 citizens of Ivanjica to be employed.
With the construction of a highway to Montenegro, which will also be passing through Ivanjica, there will be greater opportunities for all those looking to invest in the area.
According to him, some investors are already interested.
– For the time being, we should be happy that the highway reaches Pozega. The fact that it passes through Ivanjica changes things considerably. The gasification process in Ivanjica is expected to be completed by October 1, which will open considerably more possibilities for new investments – Lazovic emphasized.
