Preliminary decision on concession of Nikola Tesla Airport postponed again – January 5 new deadline
The decision on the best bids for the concession should have been reached by December 25, but the deadline was extended due to Christmas and non-working days until December 29.
– The new deadline for the Decision on the selection of the best bid is January 5 – says the website of the Airport. It is added that the decision was published on December 29 in the Official Gazette.
Four bids were sent for the concession of the Belgrade Airport.
The bids were sent by the Swiss-French consortium of the Zurich Airport and the companies Eiffage and Meridiam Eastern Europe Investments, the Indian-Greek consortium of GMR Infrastructure ltd and Terna, the French company Vinci Airports and the South Korean-Turkish-Cypriot consortium of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Yatirimlari ve Islatme and VTB Capital Infrastructure.
The invitation was placed by the Government of Serbia and the Nikola Tesla Airport on February 10, 2017.
The concession of financing, development through construction and reconstruction, maintenance and management of the airport's infrastructure and performing the activities of an operator is given for a period of 25 years.
