"Microsoft" plans to open innovation center in Serbia
- Company "Microsoft" plans to open an innovation center in Serbia and the talks about that have already commenced - said Tomislav Bronzin, the owner of Internet development company "Citus", yesterday (October 16, 2008).
It is still unknown when the innovation center will be founded in Serbia, but it is for sure that it won't happen before September 2009 due to the budget organization of companies "Microsoft" and "U.S. Steel" - said Bronzin, who used to run "Innovation Center" in Varaždin, at "Sinergija" in Novi Sad.
He announced that the workshop about innovation center would be held on October 23 in Varaždin and that it would gather the representatives of company "Microsoft" from Serbia and other countries of the region and the representatives of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), which backed the founding of the center in Varaždin.
The innovation center helps partner companies, universities and authorities develop innovations and apply new solutions.
