Preliminary decision on concessionaire for Nikola Tesla Airport postponed until December 29
As stated in a press release by the Belgrade Airport, “the guidelines for the bidders qualified for Phase 2 envisage that the Public Body maintains the right of extending deadlines for certain tasks and deadlines for decisions of the Public Body, especially when deadlines overlap with non-working days in Serbia”.
– As the day scheduled for the decision of the Public Body to be made falls on December 25, a non-working day in the states in which the seats of all or certain qualified bidders for Phase 2 are located, the Public Body has reached the decision to extend the deadline for the decision on the selected bidder – it is added.
Other elements of the Public Invitation opened on February 10 remain unchanged.
Let us remind that four bids were sent for the concession of the Nikola Tesla Airport and that one of the qualified bidders, the Chinese Consortium of HNA and China National Aero-Technology, withdrew from the contest.
The four remaining contestants are the Swiss-French consortium of the Zurich Airport and the companies Eiffage and Meridiam Eastern Europe Investments, the Indian-Greek consortium of GMR Infrastructure ltd and Terna, the French company Vinci Airports and the South Korean-Turkish-Cypriot consortium of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Yatirimlari ve Islatme and VTB Capital Infrastructure.
