Coordination Council for electronic governance set up

On November 20, the Government of Serbia formed the Coordination Council for e-Government. The head of the Coordination Council is Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, and her deputy Mihailo Jovanović, acting director of the Office for Information Technology and Electronic Administration,

The objective of the Coordination Council for eGovernment is to enable public-private dialogue of all stakeholders and coordinate the activities of state authorities in establishing full-capacity e-government. Also, this council will coordinate introduction of new electronic services for citizens and businesses, electronic payments and recording of payment of all services to the state, then electronic archiving of documents, development of cloud services, as well as the abolition of relics of the past, such as stamps and payment slips.
