Pirot-based Tigar gets RSD 80 m from the Government of Serbia - Company is expecting more favorable pre-pack plan
The reason for this is the contracts signed by which they could work in three shifts by the end of the year, but they lack working capital to start production.
The paid money enables the plant to progress, as buyers from Lithuania and the Army of Finland and Norway are interested in production according to NATO standards. There are contracts that must be implemented by the end of the year, such as delivery of refractory boots for Hong Kong and traditional peasant shoes to Japan, and foreign partners are also interested in renewal of sports program.
In addition, according to General Manager Vladimir Ilic, they expect new pre-pack plan which would be better off with creditors under better conditions.
The Mayor of Pirot, Vladan Vasic, says that it is good the state helped, because without fresh capital the plant could not step into more serious production.
