MIHAJLOVIC: Construction of Fruska Gora corridor to start in 2018
– The Fruska Gora corridor is strategically important for Serbia and this part of Europe. The preparation of the project documentation is close to completion and our plan is for the works to begin next year and for us to discuss the manner of financing this project in the meantime – Mihajlovic said.
Ambassador Pinter pointed out that the past year had been marked by numerous contacts between the governments and that there was a lot of room for the cooperation between the two countries to be enhanced further.
The progress in realization of other infrastructural projects important for Serbia and Hungary, among which are the construction of the Belgrade-Budapest railway, the reconstruction of the Szeged-Subotica-Baja railway and the opening of the new border crossing, Rastina, were also discussed at the meeting.
