City of Belgrade selected 6 companies to supervise construction of tram infrastructure and junctions prior to end of year 2010
At the end
of April 2008, City of Belgrade-City Administration announced the international
invitation through the Secretariat for Finance and the Investment Administration
(the Project Implementation Sector) for prequalification for supervision of
construction works on tram network and numerous important junctions in Belgrade.
All these works will be financed from the loan approved by the European
Investment Bank (EIB), and the investment is a part of a big campaign named “City
Infrastructure Reconstruction Project”.
The Project will
include reconstruction and rehabilitation of about 27 kilometers of tram tracks
and belonging contact network, tram stations, tram and street signaling, lanes
on neighboring junctions and pedestrian walks, drainage system and public
utility infrastructure.
The Project also includes rehabilitation of two bridges.
The works on this project commenced at the end of spring 2008 and they will last until the end of year 2010.
In that period, the supervisors will be :
- Intecsa-Inarsa s.a Spain, (member of SNC-Lavalin Group),
- “Saobraćajni institut CIP” (Traffic Institute CIP) Belgrade,
- “DIS Consulting” Ljubljana,
- consortium - “Duo Dec” Belgrade +”Putinvest” Belgrade + “Petra inženjering” Lajkovac + “Apro inženjering” Belgrade, Serbia,
- consortium – “Safege Nanterre cededž” France and “Transurb technirail” SA
Belgium, as well as
- “Institut za puteve” (Institute for Roads) and “Profil projekt”, Belgrade.
