Seven Serbian companies among 500 largest in 17 countries of the Central Europe - NIS has most favorable position
On the list of the leading companies from 17 countries of the Central Europe, made by the experts of auditor-consulting company "Deloitte", there are even 7 companies from Serbia.
According to made profits from the previous year, the best ranged is the Petrol Industry of Serbia (NIS), which holds 20th place among the largest 500. Then, the following one is a state owned company, EPS, on the 79th place.
The best positioned private company from Serbia among the largest 500 is "Delta M" (on 106th place). Also on the list stand PTT Srbija (112th place), "Telekom Srbija" (155th place), "U.S.Steel" and "Srbijagas" (253rd place).
"Deloitte" has made a rang list of the top 100 banks. The most successful among them is Banca Intesa (78th place), Komercijalna bank (84th place), Raiffeisen bank (85th place) and Hypo Alpe Adria bank (99th place).
