MPC still interested in purchase of IMT
- Company “MPC properties" is still interested in purchase of Belgrade-based Industry of Machines and Tractors (IMT) – people in "MPC" confirmed.
- We expect Privatization Agency to call us to the negotiations about purchase of IMT. When that happens, we will ask for the analysis of the current state in the factory – people in "MPC" explained.
Consortium “Agri investments", which consist of the companies of "MPC Properties" whose owner is Petar Matić and "Adriano Corsi" from Italy, was the third-ranked bidder on the tender for sale of 100% of capital of IMT in restructuring.Privatization Agency has decided to invite that consortium to negotiations about sale of IMT because the first-ranked and the second-ranked bidder gave up procurement.
People in MPC did not want to say whether their bid would be supplemented by the investment program, but they pointed out that they should have insight into documentation about current situation in IMT before the negotiations commenced because the tender had been announced more than one year before.
