"Glencore" interested in taking part in tender for purchase of RTB "Bor" - prequalification tender in progress
Swiss multinational company "Glencore" is interested in participating in the tender for purchase of RTB "Bor".
People
in the Ministry of Economy of Serbia have confirmed that "Glencore", one of the
world’s leading companies that deal with trade in metals and fuels, is
interested in strategic partnership with Mining-Smelter Basin (RTB) "Bor".
That
is, so far, the largest company that is interested in purchase of RTB "Bor".
The company was founded in 1974 and it first dealt with sale of metals and non-metals, ore and crude oil. It directly and indirectly employs more than 2,000 people in more than 40 countries.
According to the announcements of the Ministry of Economy, the prequalification
tender for selection of the strategic partner for privatization of RTB will
last until September 30th.
