EY Entrepreneur of the Year – 2017 contest opens
The EY Entrepreneur of the Year award is organized in over 150 cities in nearly 60 countries of the world. It has existed for 30 years now, and it was first established in Serbia in 2012. In the past year, over 120 companies employing 11,000 people have taken part in the program in Serbia. These companies' cumulative revenues in the past five years have amounted to over EUR 2.7 billion.
– We are extremely proud that EY will promote entrepreneurs' successes in Serbia for another year in a row. The EY Entrepreneur of the Year program has presented us with an opportunity to get to know the biggest challenges of entrepreneurship, the obstacles successfully overcome by entrepreneurs and the steps they've taken in order to achieve success in business in our country and throughout the world – stated Ivan Rakic, EY Country Managing Partner for Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
An independent jury will deliberate on the winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 contest, and their decision will be based on key factors of success such as entrepreneurial spirit, financial indicators, strategic orientation, presence in the regional or the international market, innovation and personal integrity.
– ProCredit Bank continues supporting the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program with pleasure, wishing for all of us to thereby contribute to a further promotion and development of entrepreneurship in our country. For Serbia, such contests are very important, as the presentation of successful business results, examples and people encourage and incite many entrepreneurs to continue realizing their ideas. Entrepreneurial optimism, new investments and solutions, are the driving engine of any economy and ProCredit Bank strives every day to provide local businessmen with a versatile support in their business. We believe that, thanks to ours participating in this year's EY Entrepreneur of the Year program, we will manage to continue with all this and incite numerous local entrepreneurs to be even more successful and innovative in their line of business – explained, Svetlana Tolmaceva Dingarac, head of the Executive Board of ProCredit Bank.
