The operating profit of the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, according to preliminary results, increased by 14% in the first eight months compared to the corresponding period of 2016. Also, the gross profit was higher by 8% in the same period, a press release says.

The net profit in this period amounts to over RSD 2.4 billion and is 10% higher than the net profit in last year's corresponding period.

The Nikola Tesla Airport expects another record-setting year, with realistic expectations that it will serve between 5.3 and 5.5 million passengers by the end of the year.

Total income is 9% higher than in the same period in 2016, whereas operating income is higher by 10% than in last year's corresponding period.

Such results are mainly down to an increase in the number of passengers by 9% and the flow of goods and mail by 37%.

The biggest increase was realized in revenues from the passenger service, services such as VIP salon usage and special-request services.
