First flight from Beijing to Belgrade on September 15

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will welcome the first plane to travel the newly established air route between Beijing and Belgrade at the Nikola Tesla Airport on Friday, September 15, the Government of Serbia announced today.

The ceremony will also be attended by Ambassador of China to Serbia Li Manchang and representatives of Hainan Airlines, which is conducting the flight.

The first flight will transport over 20 businessmen and representatives of business associations from China to Serbia.

The plan is for the flight on the Belgrade-Beijing route to be conducted through Prague, twice a week.

The introduction of a direct flight on the said route, beginning with next year, has also been announced.
