Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia Zorana Mihajlovic said on Friday, July 28, 2017, that Serbia was ready to build the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway and that a feasibility study had already been prepared, but that an agreement needed to be reached in B&H regarding the route within its territory.

Mihajlovic pointed out that Serbia had been fully prepared to build a highway towards Sarajevo from the very start and that the project had been agreed on at the time of the joint sessions of the Government of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of B&H, the Belgrade media report.

– On our part, we have even prepared a feasibility study and the route has been precisely defined, but the exact route through B&H is not yet clear. There needs to be an agreement within B&H about that. Serbia cannot influence that agreement – Mihajlovic said to the press.
