Who are the members of the National Council for Cooperation with Russia and China?

The chairman of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, Tomislav Nikolic, presided over the first session of this body on July 24, 2017.

Members of this Council, who attended the session, are Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic, Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic, Minister of Culture and Information Vladan Vukosavljevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Mirjana Cojbasic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ana Langovic Milicevic.

The session of the National Council was also attended by members Ivan Mrkic, Dejan Simic, Milan Tadic and the acting director of the Nation Council Office, Nedeljko Tenjovic.

At the first session of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the Public's Republic of China, the members were introduced to the progress of the cooperation with those two countries made up to that point. The members welcomed the establishment of a new body, agreed that the Council's task was to help the Government of Serbia establish as efficient a cooperation with Russia and China as possible by coordinating its activities with the ministries, all to the end of growth and further acceleration of the development of Serbia, the press release says.


The members of the Council agreed that regular exchange of information among themselves was crucial to further enhancement of the cooperation between Serbia and Russia and China. At the first session, the members of the Council also agreed to hold regular meetings for the purpose of reviewing and evaluating the agreed activities.
