Este Team providing top world technology in glass and stone processing – Good service bringing back old customers and attracting new ones
Predominantly, these are Italian producers, namely, Intermac, for machines for processing glass, stone and metal, Emmegi, for processing aluminum and PVC, as well as the Spanish Pujol, for laminating glass. Furthermore, there are Cefla, the leading global producer of glass painting and decorating equipment, Adelio Lattuda, with more than 40 years of tradition in producing grinders and glass beveling machines, SCV System, Donatoni and Diamut.
The list of suppliers, they say, is constantly and carefully being expanded, so that customers would be able to find quality and reliable equipment for their needs in one place.
Este Team was recently awarded with the Gold AAA certificate, handed out by Bisnode. The company received the AAA certificate in 2015, when it was marking its 10th anniversary, and then placed among the Gold AAA companies only a year later.
– We see this as a great acknowledgement of our many years of hard work, as this certificate has great prominence and value in all the countries we do business in, and many of our clients own it as well. This means that our status assures our clients and provides them with confidence that they have chosen the right partner, whose services they can rely on – the company says for eKapija.
Of course, they add, “the certificate itself will not attract, keep and bring back customers. Instead, all that is the result of the hard work done by our entire team”.
Today, Este Team has 10 members – the servicing department consists of four technicians, whereas the rest of the staff works in the commercial and the administrative department.
Este Team mostly operates abroad, namely, in the countries of the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Albania and Hungary. Commenting on the situation in the local construction market, the company says for eKapija that “after a number of years of stagnation, we are witnessing an expansion of the Serbian construction sector, which is good for all of us related to that sector. When it comes to machine sales, we are witnessing a sudden rise in demand, which has been very noticeable since the beginning of 2016”.
– The projects realized in Serbia today are long-term endeavors and we hope that the trend will continue – the company says and adds that “the biggest demand at the moment is for the aluminum and PVC processing equipment and the equipment for processing glass”.
– It’s very interesting that there are lots of customers from one sector that also belong to complementary sectors, so a lot of the customers that have already bought our glass processing machines come back to get aluminum or PVC processing machines and vice versa – they explain.
When asked how prepared customers are to invest in quality nowadays and how important the price factor is, the company says that the price is important, but that this is not characteristic of local customers only.
– Este Team is active in the wider Balkans region and Southeast Europe as well, so we have insight into the different national and business mentalities. Whether quality or price is more important depends on the market in which our customers place their products, whether the products are meant for the local market or for export. It’s natural that everyone is going to take that aspect into consideration as well, but we try to give our clients maximum value for the money, in other words, not just a quality and reliable machine, but also post-sale services. Of course, the majority of the clients want everything right away, the quality, an affordable price and favorable payment terms. In most cases, Este Team finds a way of meeting most of the market demands.
One of the important aspects of their activities is local service support. Este Team believes that the servicing department is the key factor setting them apart from the competition and making old customers come back, while also attracting new ones.
The priority of the technical service, they say, is to provide quick and quality post-sale services wherever and whenever they are needed.
– We install new machines, train operators for working with them and perform servicing interventions as per need. The service is also in charge of ordering spare parts and providing phone assistance, all to the end of enabling our clients to perform their activities free of obstacles – they explain.
They also point out that the technical service of Este Team is active outside the region as well and that their technicians have performed around 200 installations and numerous servicing interventions in nearly 30 countries worldwide so far, “all thanks to the technical knowledge, as well as the proficiency in foreign languages”.
Este Team says that “this is a good year”, but that it has been less successful than the last one so far.
– Aside from sales, Este Team is very active in providing servicing, so there’s always work. In addition to the commercial and servicing activities, we are also working a lot on human resources, permanent training... – they say.
Regarding their plans, our interviewees say that “in the turbulent environment we work and live in, it doesn’t make much sense to make long-term plans”.
– Our goal is to maintain the level we’ve reached so far. There are always plans, but we can only talk about them once they are realized, as our business strategy is to always keep our feet on the ground – the company explains.
