Completion of section of bypass around Belgrade, 7.7 km long, prior to October 15
Minister of Infrastructure, Milutin Mrkonjić, says that 7.7-kilometer section of the bypass around Belgrade will be finished prior to October 15.
Mrkonjić pointed out that all projects would be finished thanks to the Government’s support and founding of the National Council for Infrastructure.
He said that the state was determined to pay special attention to the construction of infrastructure, which was confirmed by the President of Serbia, Boris Tadić, at the meeting of the National council for infrastructure.
Mrkonjić says that the forming of that Council confirmed the state’s decision to attribute greater importance to quicker construction of infrastructure.
- Transportation sector is only a part of that big project, which includes energy sector, capital investments, as well as civil engineering and spatial planning - Mrkonjić specified and pointed out that the state had provided conditions for works and construction and that between 4.5 and 5 billion EUR had been set aside for realization of those projects.
