The members of the City Assembly of Belgrade adopted one general regulation plan and five detailed regulation plans, as well as decisions on the preparation of three detailed regulation plans, at the session held on Thursday, June 29, 2017, Beoinfo reports.

The general regulation plan of the construction area of the local self-government units of the municipalities of Grocka, Palilula, Zvezdara and Vozdovac, as well as the detailed regulation plans for parts of the municipalities of Palilula, Vozdovac, Grocka, Lazarevac, Cukarica, Obrenovac, Vracar and New Belgrade, were adopted.

– Two plans are infrastructural in character, whereas two pertain to business zones. It’s interesting that the majority of the six plans pertain to suburban neighborhoods and that none is related to the central part of Belgrade. This confirms that the focus is not only on the center of the city, but also on those parts that have often been treated without any plan or regulation in the past – emphasized the main city architect, Milutin Folic.

He said that these three plans brought the number of planning documents prepared and adopted in the previous three years to over 160.
