Air Serbia establishes flights to Venice
As the company reported, the flights will be conducted Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays by the ATR 72 turboprop aircraft with up to 70 seats. Return tickets will cost EUR 134, all taxes and expenses included.
– We are glad to be able to connect the capital of Serbia with Venice, our third Italian destination, after Milan and Rome. Our new flights to Venice offer several travel options each week and a total capacity of 560 seats a week, which enables an easier planning of business trips, extended weekends and outings. Furthermore, we have enabled an easy connection of the Belgrade hub with Air Serbia’s regional flights, so that all passengers from our network can expect comfortable trips to Venice – said Dane Kondic, CEO of Air Serbia, in the press release.
The first flight, JU560, was completed on the morning of June 1, at 8:35 am. The plane was traditionally welcomed at the Venice Marco Polo Airport with water cannons.
