Croatia obtained Business angels - support to development of innovations in entrepreneurship

Croatian network of business angels (CRANE), which could help small and mid-sized enterprises (SME) provide funds and start business, has been promoted in Zagreb.

Association for development of software and online entrepreneurship Initium, Venture Capital Association and fund Poteza Venture initiated founding of that network.

Business angels are entrepreneurs and leaders of the companies that finance start-up projects of high risk by taking part of the ownership and by providing assistance in further development and commercialization of projects.

The aim of the network is to stimulate development of innovations in entrepreneurship with the financial aid in amount of 25-250,000 EUR, as well as to provide professional assistance to entrepreneurs-beginners.
