Summer season in Skadarlija to start on April 29

The summer season in Skadarlija is to begin on April 29, and the opening will be attended by representatives of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the European Travel Commission (ETC).

The opening will also feature the Mediterranean and South East Oscar award ceremony “Golden Tourist Heart 2016”, organized by the Skadarlija Society and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB), and tourist giants such as Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Slovenia and Croatia are expected to attend and take their awards, says the press release by Sacen International.

The Djerdap National Park was pronounced champion of environmental tourism of the Mediterranean and South East Europe by Sacen, and Belgrade’s bohemian quarter Skadarlija was awarded “The Golden Cup of Hospitality”.
