Opening of the new block in the mine shaft “Ravna Reka”, on May, 8th – with capacity of 100.000 tones of coal per year
In the mining shaft “Ravna Reka” of the brown coal mine “Rembas” from Resavica, today (May, 8th, 2008) will be festively opened “Block 4”, with a capacity of 100.000 tones of coal per year, announced the Director of the Public company for underground coal exploitations “Resavica”, Zlatko Dragosavljevic.
This part of “Rembas” has 3.000.000 tones of coal, added Dragosavljevic, mentioning that the festivity is also planned in order to “encourage” the miners of underground exploitation with production results, which were very good compared to the last years and which will “for sure be even better”.
“Ravna Reka” shaft is the second oldest (after Senjski mine) RMU “Rembas”, and has been used for exploitation since 1908.
