Successful year for Metalac subsidiaries – Loss recorded in Croatia only

The Gornji Milanovac-based company Metalac has published the 2016 results of its subsidiaries, which are for the most part better than a year before.

The main production company in the group, Metalac Posudje, had an operating income of RSD 3.3 billion, a growth of 21.7%, whereas the net profit jumped by 27.1% to RSD 230.8 million. The biggest progress was made by the group’s youngest company, FAD, which increased its revenues four times to RSD 362.3 million and had a net profit of RSD 25.1 million.

All trade companies recorded a growth of revenues and ended the year in the black, Wisebroker reports.


When it comes to exporting companies, the Russain Metrot made a dramatic expansion with a growth of revenues of 103% to EUR 6.6 million, whereas the net profit reached EUR 583.000, compared to a loss of EUR 85,700 in 2015.

The only company within the system to have negative results is the Croatian Promo-metal, which recorded a loss of EUR 73,300 and had a drop in sales of 13.8% to EUR 1.4 million.
