Budget surplus of Serbia RSD 11.5 billion in first two months of 2017
– Serbia's fiscal policy has recently been confirmed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which confirmed remarkable results achieved in all segments of agreed reforms, especially in the domain of fiscal consolidation – the report says.
The Ministry of Finance reminded that the plan was for the budget minus to amount to RSD 25.8 billion at the end of February, which means that the result is better than expected by RSD 37.3 billion.
As explained, the considerably better result was also caused by better revenue collection of RSD 18.2 billion, which is 12.2% more than the planned revenues for the first two months of 2017.
The Ministry of Finance, as the report says, “is determined to continue the tax policy reforms and improving the legislature, thereby contributing to a better business environment, strengthening investments activities, creating new jobs and a better living standard”.
