Application deadline for potential concessionaires for Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport extended
The selection, let us remind, should be carried out in two phases. The first phase entails the submission of non-binding bids, whereas binding bids are to be sent during the second phase. Everyone interested will first have to submit a request for taking part in the procedure. This is the deadline that has now been extended until March 10, 2017. Initially, it was announced that the deadline period was 15 days from February 10, 2017.
– The application deadline has been extended so as to enable as many potential bidders as possible to gather all the necessary documentation and submit complete applications – the Government of Serbia explained. The decision was published in the Official Gazette of February 22.
As previously announced, following the submission of applications, the bidders will be given 60 days to submit their non-binding bids within Phase 1. The price of the tender documentation is EUR 1,000.

Let us remind that the state authorities earlier announced that more than 20 renowned world airlines were expected to show interest in the project. Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic also stated that the Belgrade Airport should get a private partner, which was to secure bigger revenues and better investments, before the end of 2017.
