EBRD looking for consultant in Western Balkans – EUR 85 million to be invested in energy efficiency projects
In order to successfully implement this mechanism, EBRD will hire a consultancy company which is to carry out preparations for project initiation, successful implementation and verification, states the invitation for expressions of interest. The consultant can be a single consultancy company or a consortium, whose experts are to be employed on the task full-time.
The consultancy company will be obliged to establish a network of regional offices. It is expected to hire a team of experts with five years of experience in managing similar projects, marketing, preparation of financial analyses and capital investments, as well as in the fields of energy management of residential buildings, energy efficiency and RES.
The assignment should start in the first half of 2017, and the duration has been estimated at 4 years. The total consultancy services budget amounts to EUR 5.1 million, exclusive of VAT.
EBRD says that the financial facility will take the form of credit lines which will be realized through financial intermediaries in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Albania.
Credit lines should stimulate investments in energy efficiency and RES projects. They will be available to citizens living in apartments or family houses, as well as groups, housing associations and housing management companies. Intermediaries, such as producers, vendors, and construction companies, installers and companies providing energy services, which are active in carrying out green projects in residential facilities, are also eligible.
The final deadline for submitting documentation expressing interest in providing consultancy services is February 6, 2017.
