The Turkish company Global Ports Holding has started the year 2017 with additional investments whose main goal is enhancing Port of Adria’s operational capabilities, and the new addition to port equipment is Gottwald crane HMK 260e, the company reported.

This universal machine/crane, with maximum capacity of 80 tons, is suitable for various applications. It can be used for loading and discharging of general cargoes, containers and project cargoes as well.

Gottwald HMK 260e crane has already started operating in Port of Adria and with the addition of a spreader, it will be used for container handling. Increase of handling productivity has already been confirmed.

Completed and future investments demonstrate that Port of Adria is intensely developing its commercial port capacities, positioning itself as a reliable partner in logistic chain of door-to-door service, the report says.
