The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) has signed a loan agreement worth EUR 10 million with Intesa Leasing to the end of stimulating the development of micro and small enterprises in Serbia.

The loan is a continuation of the cooperation of the EFSE and Intesa Leasing, which provides financial leasing services for the procurement of various types of equipment and commercial vehicles.

– Expanding our partnership with Intesa Leasing proves our loyalty to micro and small enterprises, and additional financing will enable more micro and small enterprises to acquire the necessary funds – stated the chairman of the Board of Directors of the EFSE, Christoph Tiskens.

The chairman of the Executive Board of Intesa Leasing, Nebojsa Janicijevic, says that the continuation of the successful cooperation with the EFSE is especially important as it enables Intesa Leasing to provide funds to micro and small enterprises under favorable conditions.

The EFSE provides long-term financing, primarily of micro and small enterprises, but also of households, through loans for improving living conditions directed at clients through cooperation with local financial institutions, states the joint report by Intesa Leasing and the EFSE.
