City of Novi Sad hands over facility in North 4 Zone to Lear

The City of Novi Sad has successfully completed the construction of the facility in the North 4 Zone meant for the factory of the company Lear. The construction was completed in line with the plan and the hall was rented to the company, the City of Novi Sad reported.

The taking-over protocol was signed by Mayor Milos Vucevic on behalf of the City of Novi Sad, by Director Zoran Jovcic on behalf of PE Poslovni Prostor and by Pavel Larionov, authorized representative of Lear Corporation Belgrade.

The Public Enterprise for Construction and Development of Novi Sad was authorized to invest in the construction of the hall on behalf of the City. The hall is meant for production activities, has 4 floors, an area of around 28,000 m2 and side facilities. It has also received an energy passport. The construction and development has been fully completed. The plot of land on which the hall was built is only a section of 57.5 hectares of land given by the Republic of Serbia to the City of Novi Sad last year free of charge.

Around 40 hectares remain available, and the City is planning to develop the neighboring parcel and offer it to potential investors.
