Efficient support to business – Special Edition Newsletter “Transport and Logistics” to arrive on December 6

The growth of foreign trade and the development of transportation infrastructure have marked 2016. The total merchandise trade of Serbia with the world increased by 7.6% by October 2016, with the export jumping by 10.1% and the import increasing by 5.7% compared to last year. The export, along with investments, has become the key factor of the economic growth of Serbia, influencing in turn the employment of capacities of transportation, forwarding and logistics companies.

The growth and development of these companies might certainly be bigger with adequate infrastructural capacities. This year has been marked by works on the road network, modernization of the railway and water transportation projects.

The current topics and great interest by our readers caused us to turn our attention once again to the sector of transport and logistics. The Special Edition Newsletter “Transport and Logistics – Efficient Support to Business” will be published on December 6, 2016.

In the newsletter, there will be talk about Serbia's foreign trade balance, the biggest exporters, innovations in road transportation, implementation of the new Law on Cargo Transport, investments in railway and water infrastructure, logistics challenges in online trading, the growth of air cargo transport, new logistics centers, intermodal transport, logistics in the car industry...

We will interview all the relevant people in this area – from state institutions (Customs Administration, Ministry of Transport, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering), through managers of forwarding companies, truck transporters, port operators, biggest logistics providers, to representatives of banks and insurance houses.

This way, we will try to present the state of the areas of transport and logistics and highlight their importance and impact on increasing the efficiency of operations of any business entity.

We will also look into the transport and storage of goods requiring special temperature regimes. There will also be talk about advantages of transporting goods through groupage routes, the transport of oversize cargo and outsourcing of distribution and storage of goods.

A special part of the newsletter is reserved for the presentation of storage equipment, the most important solutions for automation of logistics processes, software for a more efficient fleet management, commercial vehicles...
