"Semenarstvo" sold to Kragujevac-based "Agromarket"
Šabac-based company for processing
of grain seeds "Semenarstvo" has been sold for 111m RSD to Kragujevac-based
"Agromarket".
Šabac’s company was in bankruptcy, which was introduced in February
2007, and the new owner bought laboratory, power plant and silo, warehouses and
kilns, six hectares of agricultural land, offices in Šabac and an one-room
apartment in the city downtown.
According to unofficial information, the largest creditor of that company is Agrobanka, which provided the guarantee for the loan worth 4.5m USD approved by the International Bank in 1986.
Company "Semenarstvo"
has 75 workers and it was one of two Serbian factories for production and
processing of seeds. Annual capacity of the factory is 34,000 tons.
