Italy' Building Energy preparing to raise biomass power plant in Krusevac – Public-private partnership worth EUR 26 million

Representatives of the Italian company Building Energy visited Krusevac several days ago, where they discussed a biomass power plant project worth EUR 26 million with the mayor, representatives of the City Heating Plant and a consulting house, as reported on the city's website.

Besides being one of the most important and most valuable projects in Krusevac, this is a good example of a public-private partnership. The investor proposed where the future heating pipeline, which should connect the biomass power plant and the City heating Plant, would go through.

As well, the contents of the agreement to be signed with Srbijasume was defined. The agreement will enable the future power plant to be supplied with biomass, the website adds.
