KNEZEVIC: Government available to businessmen at all times

Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic stated two nights ago at the summer reception of businessmen that the government would continue fighting for changes and economic reforms and said that the government was available to businessmen at all times.

The summer reception was held at the home of the Serbian business club Privrednik and attended by Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojsa Stefanovic, Minister of Labor Aleksandar Vulin, Minister of Education Mladen Sarcevic and Knezevic.

Also present were the World Bank Country Manager for Serbia Tony Verheijen, the president of CCIS, Marko Cadez, Miodrag Kostic, Miroslav Miskovic and other well known businessmen, the president of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Vladimir Kostic, and others.

– We have done a lot in the past period, especially in the macroeconomic field. I can promise that we will continue to fight for changes and economic reforms in the country – Knezevic said.

He stated that there was nothing more natural than for the minister of economy to associate with businessmen.

– We wish for an even stronger and better business environment, new jobs and an efficient economy and I expect you to help in that field. You know what the problems are and how to solve them, which is exactly what we need in this situation. I am available at all times for ideas and suggestions, so that we could make Serbia a better place to live – Knezevic emphasized.
