Representatives of the German company Carl Kuehne, which produces vinegar, mustard, spice sauces, pickles, dressings and sweet spreads, has negotiated in Sabac with Mayor Nebojsa Zelenkovic about opening a factory in the city.

The German investor is interested in producing pasteurized pickles. The raw material would be produced by agriculturists from Sabac, in line with the rules and guidelines of German experts and with their help. For local producers, this job would secure the sale of their products at a stable price.

Carl Kuehne was founded in 1722. It employs 1,400 workers in its many factories, and its products are present in 70 countries.

The company’s headquarters are in Hamburg, and, outside of Germany, they own production facilities in France, Turkey and Poland. The most famous companies supplied by Carl Kuehne are Burger King and Subway.
