Bel Medic General Hospital signs agreement with Air Pannonia on patient transport
The agreement was signed by director Jasmina Knezevic, M. Sci. Med, on behalf of Bel Medic, who stated that the cooperation provided greater security to patients regarding their health, wherever they might be at the moment.
– In practice, signing this agreement means that a patient can be transported to Bel Medic General Hospital and other health institutions in the Republic of Serbia from anywhere within Europe in the shortest time possible – said Dr Ivana Petrovic, medical director of Bel Medic, and pointed out that foreign citizens who injured themselves in Serbia and wished to continue the treatment in their countries could reach the desired destination in record time.
On behalf of Air Pannonia, the first Croatian airline company dealing in medicinal air transport, the agreement was signed by Zrinka Vlasic.
– Air Pannonia meets all the necessary legal world standards of patient transport, approved by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which sets it apart from the competition in the region. Patients will be transported by planes containing all the necessary medicinal equipment, accompanied by highly qualified experts specially trained for this kind of medicinal service – Vlasic stated and added that the company needed between one and two hours to organize the flight after receiving a call.
