Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin stated in Jagodina that in the current year, before August 11, RSD 4.4 billion more than planned, which is around 2% more, had been paid to the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.

– This means that the Fund has withdrawn RSD 13.8 billion less in subsidies than planned and that means that if the trend continues, there will be only 35% of pension subsidies – Vulin said on the occasion of his tour of the Gerontology Center in Jagodina.

He added that, in 2012, the pension subsidies had amounted to 48% and that this was “the absolute proof” that the economy was recovering and that the employment rate was on the rise.
