Germans looking for suppliers from the Western Balkans – Over 40 companies from Serbia attending the Dortmund meeting

The 43 selected companies from Serbia and other countries of the Western Balkans will meet with German exporters interested in co-operating with manufacturers in the region on June 9 in Dortmund. The meeting is a one-day B2B event held as part of the project “German buyers initiative for the Western Balkan countries”.

Over 400 companies from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia have applied, and a total of 169 have received the invitation to participate.

The event will also be attended by 49 German companies, mostly manufacturers in the areas of machine building, metal processing industry, auto industry component manufacture, and plastic and rubber processing.

The German buyers initiative for the Western Balkan countries is being realized under the patronage of GIZ and the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and as part of the organization of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia), other regional branches of the German economy (AHK) and the German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME e.V.). The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) has given significant support to the realization of the project in Serbia.
