Serta from the UAE becomes a co-owner of Belgrade's Aerodrom Ketering – Value of acquisition USD 2.72 mil
The agreement on the acquisition was signed by Abdullah Al-Samari, General Manager of Serta, and Marko Davidovic, General Manager of Aerodrom Ketering, a Serbian company which specializes in catering services for planes, informs Emirati press agency WAM.
Al-Samari estimated, after having signed the agreement, that the acquisition was an important step for Serta, which strove to put investing possibilities to use and expand and diversify its activities by using an attractive investment ambient which dominated the local market.
He pointed out that Serta cooperated with eminent, experienced partners in all industries in which the company wished to invest and added that Aerodrom Ketering was one of the companies which had achieved significant growth in the area of plane catering services in the past few years.
According to him, the agreement on the acquisition includes the developing and offering catering services, which will be encompassing various services by introducing modern technology in the future.
Manager of Aerodrom Ketering Marko Davidovic pointed out that the company was offering catering services to the national airline company of the UAE Etihad and to the Serbian national company Air Serbia and added that they were negotiating about providing services for other airline companies in the region.
