Cable Industry of Jagodina is exporting cables and cable equipment to about 15 world countries, mostly to the Russian Federation, and this factory’s products have also reached Equatorial Guinea, stated the general manager of the company Ratko Vucurovic for Tanjug.

“We are also exporting a lot to Poland, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Hungary and former Yugoslav republics”, specified Vucurovic and mentioned that those were their traditional old buyers, but that “there are also new ones”.

- We exported a EUR 20 mil worth of cables last year, about 20% more than in 2014, and there were also potential buyers for an additional EUR 20 mil worth of exporting, but we weren’t able to realize these opportunities because we couldn’t finance the production due to lack of working assets – said Vucurovic.

He pointed out that it was very important that they were exclusively exporting high level products and that some of those were the best of their kind on the market.

The exporting has started well this year too, he added.

He said earlier that the company would operate in the future through the Pre-Packaged Reorganization Plan (PPRP) and announced the retrieval, as he said, of reserved buyers and suppliers and increased production.
