SCOTT: American investors consider investments in Serbian economy

American investors are considering options of investing in Serbian economy, they believe Serbia has capabilities to be the base in the region but they also outline it all depends on economic growth, the US Ambassador to Belgrade Kyle Scott has said today. After the working meeting with NALED members and partners, the US diplomat said he is confident that the arrival of investment from the US in Serbia can be expected in "not too distant future". The group will, he says, comprise the ones who will be interested in business expansion,but also the ones who would for the first time invest.

Whenasked whether US investors outline some barriers when it comes to doingbusiness in Serbia, Scutt said that it is firstly the need of faster economicgrowth followed by more orderly judicial system.

Presidentof the Managing Board of NALED AnaBrnabic said that relations of this organization with the US Embassy is specialespecially since American USAID helped NALED set up.
