83rd Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad opened (PHOTO)

The International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad was opened on Saturday 14 May and will last until 20 May. Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic said the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad is not just a place to connect farmers, but also a place where countries meet.

- The importance of the International Agricultural Fair is supported with the fact that there is no major company producing agricultural machinery, seedlings, seeds, fertilizers or protection devices that has not at least once taken part at it - Nikolic said at the opening ceremony of the 83rd fair.

According to him, the strategic goals of Serbia in the field of agriculture had previously been redefined, so that the implementation of projects will lead to full exploitation of our resources and development of the entire Serbia.

The partner country at this year`s fair is Italy, and Ambassador to Serbia Giuseppe Manzo said on this occasion that Italy is the largest economic partner of Serbia in the automotive and textile industries, as well as in the insurance sector.
