The Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic has told today that he regrets the fact that the offer for buying Telekom Srbija was not accepted and that he 'cannot forgive himself for this'. Vucic has also pointed out that there are investors who are interested for buying the pharmaceutical company Galenika, but that they wish to buy it out of its bankruptcy status.

- The interested investors would like to buy Galenika assets at the price of 30-40 million EUR, whereas the debts of the company amount to 220 million EUR. Even this is better than leave Galenika to further make losses - said the Prime Minister on the Press Conference organized in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

He has stated that currently Galenika does not make losses, but it has liabilities stemming from the earlier period when the factory used to take `disastrouous loans`.

The deadline for submitting proposals for buying 25% of the Galenika assets is due on May 27, 2016.
