Italian Tecnostrutture to open production in Zrenjanin in June

Production plant of Italian Tecnostrutture in Zrenjanin's industrial zone Ecka will be opened in late June, company representatives announced today.Works on construction of a factory which manufactures steel structures were visited by company's representatives and the mayor of Zrenjanin Cedomir Janjic.Janjic said this is a new investor which has not operated in Serbia and that the arrival of investors in the city solves the problem of unemploymen. - The plan is to expand the capacity and construct another production hall - he said. Project coordinator of production facility Tecnostrutture, Marija Laketic, Ljevar said the investment in Zrenjanin totals EUR 3.5 m and that final works have been in progress.- We have already been interviewing candidates for jobs, and in the first stage we are planning to employ 30 workers. The company is export-oriented and most of production is planned for foreign markets – she said.Contract on purchase of construction land in the industrial zone Ecka between the City of Zrenjanin and Tecnostrutture was signed last April.
